Alive Fridays presents NU WAVES | Friday 23 May

Music thats not defined by genre's, it just makes you want to dance. Featuring some of Canberra's best local talent this is one night that will rock your socks off!

Upstairs: Gareth Clouston and Mulk Mulk

Downstairs: Nay Nay, Sqipper, Tali, Just Coz and Kodacode

$4 Nu Wave Cocktail that will be available all night.

Each Friday Academy will host a mixture of the top national and international touring live and DJ performers from all genres of music. Academy Fridays is a fusion of eclectic sounds, fun people and lots of dancing. Academy has hosted acts like Calvin Harris, Naughty By Nature, Flo Rida, Afrojack, Bag Raiders, Porter Robinson and many more!

The World's First Time Travelling Dance Party and International Festival hit Hot Dub Time Machine makes its way to Canberra on Friday 9th of May.

The Hot Dub Time Machine phenomena has well and truly hit Australian shores – On the back of sell-out European tours and momentous feature performances for the Falls Festivals and Sydney/Adelaide/Perth and Hobart Festivals
Hot Tub Time Machine is an audio-visual, boogie-powered journey through music history, starting in the 50’s and rocking all the way back to 2014 that will provide you with the most fun you can have with your pants on.

FIREBEATZ: 9TH OF MAY AT MECHE


Meche will be hosting one of the biggest International acts to be touching down in Australia We are very excited to Firebeatz direct from the Netherlands! Releasing some of the biggest tunes in the world including "DEAR NEW YORK" "WICKED" & "HELICOPTER.

Also with special support from Canberra's very own The Projektz.
